Treating Chronic Infections through the Lymphatic System and the Extracellular Matrix, Guasha, and Biofilms
The lymphatic system is undervalued by both doctors and herbalists. In this intensive, we will look at the energetic, emotional and physiological effects of the lymph and the extracellular matrix and understand the subtleties of the different lymphatic herbs and the role they play in the treatment of diseases and dysfunctions. This practical and efficient tool is easy to learn and use – so much so that it will soon become an essential part of your First Aid kit! Similar to cupping but much easier to perform, Gua Sha has been used in many parts of Asia for millennia – including China, Korea and Vietnam. Using simple tools every herbalist has – a Mason jar lid and a little oil - we will explore the common ailments Gua Sha is so effective at treating such as colds, body aches and stiffness, as well as lymphatic and other kinds of congestion. Come learn how Gua Sha can be a complementary tool for your practice and an incredible home remedy.
